Caner Dagli

Caner K. Dagli is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the College of the Holy Cross, Massachusetts. He earned a B.A. in Near Eastern Studies from Cornell University, an M.A. in Religion from George Washington University, and a PhD in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University. His research focuses on Islamic philosophy, theology, and Sufism. Dagli is a general editor of The Study Quran and the author of Ibn al-ʿArabī and Islamic Intellectual Culture, with a forthcoming book, Metaphysical Institutions: Islam and the Modern Project. He previously taught at Roanoke College and served as Advisor for Interfaith Affairs to the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan.
