Sarah R. bin Tyeer is a scholar specializing in adab, classical and modern Arabic literature, Qur’anic studies, and comparative literature. Her research explores the intersections of literature, Islamic studies, literary criticism, aesthetics, and the intellectual traditions of the Islamicate world. She is the author of The Qur’an and the Aesthetics of Premodern Arabic Prose (2016).
