Ayman Shihadeh is Professor of the Intellectual History of the Islamic World at SOAS University of London. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Bulletin of SOAS, Editor at the Encyclopaedia of Islam, Editor of the Islamic Translation Series (Brill), and one of the editors of Islamic Philosophy, Theology and Science: Texts and Studies (Brill), and has also served as History Panel member in the UK Research Excellence Framework. Professor Shihadeh has published extensively on the history of philosophy and theology in the premodern Islamic world.
