In this next installment of Professor Rustom's Islamic Studies Toolkit series, he will take students and scholars through the ins and outs of the world of publishing in the field of Islamic studies. The session will offer practical tips and advice on writing and successfully publishing articles and books in key academic venues, while navigating the peer-review process. Equally important, the session will focus on the "why" of publishing and the potential impact it can have, not only on Islamic studies, but also on cognate fields of learning and even the wider public.

Mohammed Rustom is an internationally recognized scholar of Islamic philosophy, Sufi literature, Quranic studies, and cross-cultural philosophy.
